Stretch Fish
A mid length with a difference.
This came around when I was asked to create a fish for a customer that could handle waves in the upper more serious levels. Still retaining a wide nose area for paddle power and planning, the outline has been stretched out and the tail pulled in to create hold and drive for when things get a little more critical.
A medium rocker line gives a very nice balance so the Stretch fish can be used in a wide variety of wave heights and conditions.
This board was built with speed and drive in mind to effortlessly cruise around sections and flow down the line.
Flat entry concave into double and ending with vee out the tail gives top paddle power and great turning potential.
Ride as a twin fin for that retro feel or as a quad for a bit more grip.
You can also order this board with my own hand shaped Irish Birch glassed in wooden keel twin fins or ‘switchblade’ quads. Resin tint and you will really have something quite special.
